Dare to Care

Dare to Care was a single day event that gathered architecture and design professionals to discuss the challenges, implications, and opportunities of sustainability in the industry. A potent identity and cohesive marketing materials were created to help promote the event around town and online.

The identity investigates the model of a circular economy through the use of materiality and copywriting that evokes themes of provenance and production. Promotional goods were created with products made exclusively from recycled materials and post consumer waste while ink was used sparingly to reduce the footprint from printing.

The graphic language sought to express these concepts as well. A single typeface and weight was chosen for the greatest economy, elements are repeatedly reused, and tiled and cropped layouts reference industrial machinery and processes.
